Each training day is 10:00AM – 5:00PM Eastern, with an hour break for lunch. 

We utilize the online Zoom platform to deliver a live, interactive training experience to you and your staff.  Virtual Person-Centered Thinking Training is an 18 hour training scheduled for six hours a day, over three consecutive days.

TRAINING DESCRIPTION

Our Person-Centered Thinking Training is comprised of 6 fun and interactive modules designed to help you approach support from a more holistic angle. We utilize the online Zoom platform to deliver a live, interactive training experience to you and your staff. 

Our trainers are credentialed and only train the curriculum of The Learning Community for Person-Centered Practices. 

Attendees are trained essential person-centered practices that respect the autonomy of those with Intellectual and developmental disabilities while providing them with the highest possible level of care.

  • Learn the fundamental skill sets of person-centered thinking
  • Learn the tools and techniques that support people's hopes, dreams, and values without neglecting health and safety
  • Aquire Observation, Problem-solving, and Management skills
  • Creating and effectively using a Person-Centered Description
